“Miss Dana” began dancing at age 4, performing on Al Alberts & Chief Halftown TV shows, local events, and March of Dimes telethons. She competed in local and national dance competitions before earning an Associate’s Degree in Dance with a focus on Modern Dance from The University of the Arts in Philadelphia. There, she trained with renowned instructors, including Roni Koresh, Pat Thomas, Milton Meyers, and Faye Snow, specializing in the Graham & Horton Modern Techniques.
Dana was a member of The Philadelphia Kixx Dance Team for two years, performing at games, charity events, and live TV. She also appeared in the movie Unbreakable and MTV’s Global Groove. Since 1995, Dana has been an instructor and choreographer at the studio, teaching Ballet Technique, Jumps/Turns, and Competition Lyrical classes.
Dana has established a reputation for creating pieces that not only showcase skill but also deeply move audiences. Her work throughout the years have earned top honors for Choreography, Emotional Execution, Technique and Storytelling. She has also had nominations for the Industry Dance Awards. Dana’s has also had her choreography featured in two music videos for an upcoming artist. She is passionate about sharing her love for dance with students, motivating them to excel both in dance and in life.
As a Director of Dancesations, Dana leads with mentorship, discipline, and encouragement, blending artistic vision with strong business skills to ensure the studio’s success. Dana is married to Bobby and has three daughters—Gianna, Olivia, and Ava—who share her love for dance.
