“Miss Celeste” began her dance career at the age of 7 when she joined the DanceSations family. She currently studies a wide variety of dance genres that include ballet, jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, hip-hop, and tap. Her love for dance and the performing arts is her driving force to inspire others to express themselves in a creative way.
She danced competitively on their team for 9 years. As a member of DanceSations competition team Celeste has been honored to receive impressive adjudications and many special judges’ awards.
Celeste has participated in many dance conventions and workshops, amazing learning opportunities including training with Tricia Miranda, Jason Janas, Preston Mui, Joshua Burrage, Thayne Jasperson, and Erin Nipps among others.
She is a member of the Tap Impact Youth Ensemble, a regional group under the guidance of Nicole Messina that seeks to bring tap into local communities as a positive way to help, inspire and give back. She is also an associate dancer with The Lady Hoofers Tap Ensemble, a Philadelphia based ensemble that centers the work of women in tap through performance, education, mentorship, training and community outreach.
In Highschool, Celeste was a member of many clubs and groups including, Dance Company, Theatre, Chorale, and Interact, which is a club that encourages many volunteering opportunities for students. She is actively pursuing her passion for the performing arts at Rowan University with a Major in Dance.
